The N.C. Housing Finance Agency’s Urgent Repair Program uses the state Housing Trust Fund to provide grants for emergency home repairs and accessibility modifications for elderly or disabled homeowners. Household incomes are generally below 30% of the area median income.
“Thanks to Representative Holliman and his leadership in the General Assembly, the state Housing Trust Fund has enabled many seniors and disabled persons to continue living in their own homes,” said Kucab. “By working with the Lexington CDC and other partners around the state, we are able to target our resources to our most vulnerable citizens.”
